The story of 2M Carnitech beginns
This is how it all started
From design office to in-house production
2M Carnitech is located in Vadum, Northern Jutland, approximately 15 km from Aalborg. The company was founded by Michael Feifer Møller in 2008 in a garage in Biersted under the name 2M Ståldesign. At that time, the main focus was on the slaughterhouse industry, and the company only provided design services for others without its own production.
By the end of 2008, success had already grown, leading to the construction of a new office, which was expanded in 2014 due to an increasing workforce.
Previously, 2M Carnitech primarily operated as a design office, developing machinery for the industry. However, in 2022, the company shifted its focus to in-house production of machines and equipment for the food industry. Today, 2M Carnitech’s machines are shipped worldwide, including to the USA, Austria, Germany, Norway, and Sweden.

In 2018, a new headquarters is established in Aabybro, featuring its own design office, blacksmith workshop, and warehouse. Additionally, a new company is established under the name 2M Production.
In September 2022, 2M Production changed its name to 2M Carnitech. The focus shifted towards producing the products that Michael Feifer Møller had designed over the last 15 years for the meat industry.
In 2024, Ole Petersen was appointed CEO, and in 2025, 2M Carnitech relocated from Aabybro to Vadum, as the facilities in Aabybro could no longer accommodate the rapidly growing demand.
